The mission of Jesus remains the same, but Australia has changed radically in the past decade. This intensive will help you to develop a better understanding of joining the Spirit in walking with someone on their journey to faith, as well as beginning to shape an effective approach to mission in your congregation and context.

Led by Dr Steen Olsen and Pastor Mat von Stanke, Shaping Mission Today will be delivered via Zoom over 8 weekly sessions. Join us every Thursday evening from 7 August to 25 September, from 7.30-9.30pm AEST.

The cost for the course is $175 for the first person, and $50 for each additional person attending from the same congregation or team of people exploring mission opportunities. When you gather together in one place to participate, you can use discussion times to work together to discern your next steps.

Sunday 10 August, the Callicoma Loop in Cherrybrook.

It's about 5.5km, starting and ending at the Cherrybrook Village shopping centre on Shepherds Drive, and 2hrs will leave plenty of time for Nich to take lots of photos :-) There are a couple of reasonably steep rocky sections (up and down), so make sure you have sturdy boots, and bring your trekking poles if you have them.

Bronwyn and John will head to the shopping centre for lunch at about noon if you'd like to join them, otherwise meet at 1pm in the park across the road. Hope you can make it.
