Jonah series begins 28 June

We all want a sign. A sign that God is real. A sign that he sees us. A sign that he cares. A sign that hope is possible.

When people demanded proof, Jesus pointed them to an unexpected place: Jonah. A reluctant prophet. A pagan city. Three days in the depths. A message nobody expected. But Jonah was only the beginning. His three days in darkness pointed to Christ's three days in the tomb. His mission to a city far from God revealed God's heart for people everywhere. And his story became a sign of the greatest truth of all: through the cross and resurrection of Jesus, God is making all things new.

The sign of Jonah reveals a God whose mercy reaches further than we imagine, whose love extends to people we might overlook, and whose call sends us beyond our comfort zones. Join us as we discover how the sign Jesus gave still changes lives today—and what it means to follow him wherever he leads.

Joshua series begins 26 July

Whether it’s the first day of kindergarten, moving into your first home as a married couple, or welcoming your first child, new seasons require us to learn, grow and adapt to changed surroundings. As Joshua leads God’s people to the edge of the Promised Land, they stand on the threshold of a new identity. They are no longer slaves; they are becoming a nation. No longer wanderers; they are becoming warriors. Soon they will be builders, landholders and city dwellers. But they are still called to be faithful to Yahweh. They must still be worshippers, devoted to the covenant they received on their Exodus journey. Becoming the people God calls us to be is a lifelong journey of learning to be His in the changing circumstances of life. But God is always faithful to His promises, even when we fail. God is always ready to reclaim and restore. God is always the architect of our days, no matter the challenges and changes within them. Join us as we learn to be different under the joyous shaping of God’s hand on our lives.

This eight part preaching series begins Sunday 26 July 2026. Join us in person or watch via livestream on our channel at: www.youtube.com/@LifeWayLutheranChurch
