10:30 AM @ TBA (will be in the City of Ryde)

Let’s roll up our sleeves and help those in need!

Give a few hours and show practical love and care to some of our most vulnerable neighbours in Ryde by helping with cleaning, gardening, and other basic household tasks.

This friendly neighbourhood working bee will be focused on a social housing location in Ryde. You don’t need any special skills to be part of this activity! Just a willingness to serve in practical ways.

We’ll be working in teams, so you’ll have plenty of support including from experienced leaders from Link Wentworth and The Salvation Army.

Here’s some of the things we will do on the day:

  • Help residents with basic cleaning and gardening tasks that they find difficult
  • Help with some basic household tasks like changing lightbulbs for residents who can’t do this themselves
  • Help care for the common areas of properties

We’re currently looking volunteers for Friday 6 September from 10.30am until 2pm-ish. If you’d love to be involved, please get in touch!

Note on venue: Please note that the exact venue for this activity will be shared with volunteers after they have registered. It will be a location in the City of Ryde.
