Grow in the grace and knowledge of your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18
Martin Luther said in his Small Catechism that we are to ‘so love God that we keep his word holy and gladly hear and learn it.’ Growing in grace begins with a willingness to be lifelong students at the foot of Jesus and purposefully grow into maturity in Christ through his Word.
Each year we offer a selection of short ‘Grow’ courses to equip you and enable you to grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus Christ and each other ‘so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:12-13).

Epping TERM 4 – In the hands of the people
Date: 19 October 2017
Ever tried to read the Bible but found yourself so confused that you end up closing the book and giving up trying to understand it? Then this is the course for you!
When Luther translated the Bible, his aim was to put God’s Word back into the hands of the people, so they could read and understand it for themselves and grow in the life and way of God’s Kingdom. So rather than put the Bible into the same category as Shakespeare: as something to be valued and enjoyed, but seldom understood, come and join us on a five week journey of discovery. You’ll learn about the overarching themes of the Bible and discover new skills to identify and understand the main themes of passages you read and learn how to apply that truth to your own life.
CHANGED DATES: Now on Mondays
Mondays at Epping, 7.30pm for 5 weeks.
