Deep-cycle batteries are designed to be fully discharged using most of their capacity. In the deep cycle of your washing machine clothes get a thorough cleansing more than a regular cycle. In the same way, the Father seeks to transform the deep places of your life by his Spirit so your capacity for his presence and your witness to his world is increased.

Be taken deep by God this Lent, and receive a deep-cycle recharge through a deep encounter with the living Jesus, a deep experience of the Father’s love and a deep filling of the Spirit’s power. It will energize you and take you further on his Way and fill you with more joy and strength than you could ever imagine.
