Pastor Mark Schultz
I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.
Since graduating from Australian Lutheran College in 1995, God has led Jo-Anne and myself on a wonderful adventure – from six fantastic years in a rich, multicultural setting in Auckland, New Zealand, to 5 years in a large dynamic congregation in Loxton, S.A., to here at LifeWay in November 2006. It’s here we intend to stay for many more years as we seek to help equip and empower people of all ages in living life fully as disciples of Jesus. It’s a huge task and an awesome privilege but an adventure that we are enjoying immensely day by day! Jo-Anne and I are proud parents of four great children.

Sharing Ministries Pastor
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
Psalm 103: 11-12
After 17 years working for a Christian publisher and bookshop, I went to Uni to study Education. I’m now employed as a part-time teacher in a school close to where I live teaching music and PE, and am the Sharing Ministries Pastor at LifeWay. I’m committed to modeling and living an active, caring faith. My main area of responsibility is leading and equipping our music ministry at LifeWay which includes our Bright Sparks Mainly Music team. I’m married to Kaye, and have been for over 20 years, and have 3 boys.

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
Fresh out from Australian Lutheran College, my first call has been to LifeWay Lutheran Church as the Newcastle Pastor. I am blessed with a wife, Maria and three beautiful children. Before my calling to serve in the LCA I was a newspaper photographer, having worked in Horsham, Mildura and Adelaide. I’m excited about serving in LifeWay at this time of transformation and look forward to helping people in their walk of discipleship.
Office Coordinator & Visual Displays Coordinator
Let your light shine before others so that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
God has blessed me with a passion for creating. I graduated in advertising/graphic design as well as garment construction, and while a full time mum, started my own dressmaking business. In 1995 my husband John and I moved from Adelaide to Sydney, with a young family, and became members here at LifeWay.
Since 2010 I have shared my creative gifts as LifeWay’s Visual Displays Coordinator, designing, creating and setting up worship displays for special & festive services, which people can visually enjoy & feel inspired by, in contemplation of God’s love for them.
In October 2014, God called me to take on a new challenge as the LifeWay Office Coordinator. I look forward to being able to share with you in Jesus’ love, hope and grace.
Graphic Designer & Visual Communications
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
LifeWay has been my family’s church home since I was 9 years old. I’ve always been creative, and after graduating from a degree in design, I began full-time work in the fashion industry, which inspired me to create my own leather accessories label – wiski. My current position here began as regular volunteer work in 2006, and as the church developed, so did my role. In 2010, I officially became part of the team, looking after all areas of graphic design and visual communication. Working between LifeWay, Wiski, and my graphic design business, Savvi Design, has me pretty busy but I love that it keeps my imagination and creativity alive.
